Asia Link National
Asialink Arts Residency applications are now open and are offered in four areas. The Arts Management residency provides opportunities for Australian arts managers to experience working with an arts organisation in an Asian country for up to four months. Residencies are open to arts managers in the areas of visual arts and crafts, performing arts, literature, multimedia, technical production and festivals.
Also available are the Literature Residency, Performing Arts Residency and Visual Arts Residency.

To promote and support ceramic art on a national level Pan Gallery annually invites Australian ceramic artists living outside Victoria to apply for a gallery hosted exhibition. The successful applicant, chosen on the basis of work being of an innovative and original nature and showing technical and creative merit, will sign a contract with Pan Gallery to undertake a three week exhibition within the first six months of 2011.

MAXIMISE is a new Australian Wood Review competition that is about making more from less. Entering MAXIMISE is about demonstrating the strength and sustainability of Australian hardwoods, and how clever design coupled with expert timber selection and furniture construction can allow us to use our forest resources more wisely.
The challenge is to design and make a piece of furniture, joinery or a decorative object from solid Australian native hardwood.

Sturt Workshop Mittagong
Sturt Craft Centre invites applications from experienced craft practitioners to the Sturt 2011 Artist - in - Residence program. Residencies occur in the disciplines of ceramics, jewellery, textiles, wood, photography and writing. Four to six residencies occur at Sturt each year. From late 2009, Sturt widened the focus of its residency program to encourage small scale production and individually designed work which will be promoted through Sturt Gallery.

Canberra Museum and Gallery (CMAG) is calling for proposals from artists to create site-specific works for Gallery 4 on Civic Square, the glass-walled exhibition space at the CMAG main entrance, which is accessible for viewing twenty-four hours a day.
Fully realised proposals for works of art are welcome from artists based in the Canberra region who are not currently engaged in formal study. Limited funds and equipment will be available for installation.
